The Mobility Innovation Week Japan 2023 is an international event that will showcase the latest achievements and challenges in the field of mobility innovation, including highly automated and connected driving, cooperative mobility services and safety assurance. The event will take place from November 14th to November 17th, 2023, in Tokyo and Tsukuba, Japan, and will feature various workshops, technical tours, and bilateral meetings with keynote speakers, experts, and stakeholders from different countries and sectors.
One of the highlights of the Mobility Innovation Week Japan 2023 is the closing event of the VIVID project, a German-Japanese research cooperation on safety assurance for automated and connected driving, which aims at developing virtual test and simulation environments for the sensor systems that are essential for this field. The VIVID project, which started in 2021 and will end in 2023, has successfully demonstrated the feasibility and scalability of its virtual verification and validation tool chain and a driving intelligence validation platform.
The Mobility Innovation Week Japan 2023 is expected to attract international participants from academia, industry, government, and civil society, who are interested in learning more about the state-of-the-art and the future trends of mobility innovation. The event will also provide a platform for networking, dialogue, and partnership among the participants, as well as for showcasing the achievements and potential of the worldwide research and innovation in this field.
